How does Gap Radar decide what my gap is?
Every answer you give — in the free diagnostic, a full practice test, or an adaptive set — updates an ability estimate for that skill. Once a skill has at least three answers and its estimate is clearly below average, Gap Radar calls it a gap and offers a focused 12-question set on it.
Why did the questions get harder (or easier)?
Adaptive practice aims each question slightly above your current level. Two misses in a row in a skill trigger two easier questions to rebuild the concept before it climbs again.
How do I start over?
Open About (the ⓘ button on the home screen) and tap Reset Gap Radar Progress. Your purchase is not affected.
Are the scores official ACT scores?
No. They are estimates from ACT IQ's own scoring model, shown with a likely range. Only an official ACT test produces an official score.

What does ACT IQ cost?
The diagnostic is free. Everything else is unlocked with a one-time purchase of $69.99 — no subscription. Family Sharing is included.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Tap Restore Purchases on the home screen or the unlock screen while signed in with the Apple Account you bought with.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
